Cabaret

Our first lengthy brief was Cabaret. We were each asked to bring in an example of a cautionary tale. We were put into small groups and were asked to develop, produce and perform a cabaret that illustrates one of our groups tales.
Our group chose 'The lion in love.' It told a story about a lion who falls in love with a girl and asks her parents for her hand in marriage, they give him their permission if he removes his teeth and claws. He does so and they just laugh at him. The story was about how love can tame the wildest.
I found it hard to work in a group as I got frustrated when people didn't show up or were really late as we couldn't start without them. I also found it hard when people didn't contribute as I didn't want to tell them to do something as I didn't want to seem bossy but no one else did so I had to. I think parts of our cabaret were succesful but it could have been better.
