One of the tasks was to make a flag for myself.
Another of our tasks was to make an 'equivalent newspaper' to one we found/bought. We had to illustrate the stories in our mock up full size paper. One of the stories I chose was 'an old-star line-up' it was about old celebrities winning awards. I decided to represent each old person as something stereotypically linked with old people and line them up.
We also had to 'create a poster that persuades as many people as possible to do something. Document photographically how many people do the something.' I remember thinking how are we supposed to document this photographically if we've got 9 other tasks to do. Then I thought just get them to do it... Each photo taken documented someone else doing the 'thing.' I thought someone would steal the cameras but they were fine. I really enjoyed the thought of people taking photos and I loved it when I got them developed. I think this was my favourite task and I'd like to continue with it some day. The photos that came out were really nice.
The 9th task we were given was to 'find the sun, the heart, the rainbow, a smile...etc. I didn't want to just go and collect images of these things as I thought everyone would do this, and most did. So I thought about alternative ways to do this. I don't like how I did it, it was rushed as there was so much to do in a short period of time but I think it shows my idea well.
